About Us

Saswick House Farm Shop and Tea Rooms is a growing concern – whichever way you look at it!

From their small-scale farm shop, run as a farm gate sales operation – complete with an honesty box – Ian and Linda Daniel developed it from an egg stand, into selling local potatoes, vegetables and even seasonal items like pumpkins around Halloween time.

Although no longer a working farm it has remained a much-loved family home and so its development into a fully-fledged farm shop and tea rooms seemed the next logical step.

The renovation has been carried out in a way that utilises original farm buildings and their authentic features.

The resulting refurbishment has been much admired and there has been special emphasis on the buildings’ ‘green’ credentials.

Likewise it’s an ethos that carries through into the shop and tearooms’ locally-sourced produce and the need to limit the business’s carbon footprint wherever possible.

Nestled in the grounds behind the farm shop is a small friendly camping and caravanning site. A peaceful escape from reality. On site facilities and electricity if required.
